Ernst & Young Webinar: Making Informed Benefit Decisions
It’s one of the rites of passage in autumn, like students returning to the classroom and the wearing of costumes at Halloween. We’re referring, of course, to open enrollment season, the annual opportunity you have to make benefits elections for the following year.
The prospect of reviewing your employer’s information kit may seem like a voyage through a bewildering array of options. Considering that you’ll have to live with these decisions over the course of a full calendar year, open enrollment could understandably be quite intimidating.
Whether you’re ready or not, open enrollment is coming. To make sure you’re ready, Ernst & Young is presenting a webinar that can help you make sense of the choices being offered, so that you can select the benefits that best meet your needs.
The session will explore the various areas of financial protection you’ll typically be asked to decide on, including medical, disability, long-term care and life insurance. For each one, we’ll review:
- The types of coverage that are available
- How much coverage you might need
- How to pay for coverage in the most cost-effective manner
For your convenience, this 45-minute webinar will be held:
- Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m., Eastern time; and
- Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m., Eastern time.
All webinars will present the same information, so choose the time that is most convenient for you. The Ernst & Young Financial Planner Line will be available after the webinars for any follow-up questions you might have on retirement planning or to address any other financial concerns might you have.
