Participants To Receive New Account Management Tool—Benefits Access

The General Board soon will launch a new, online account management tool for participants named Benefits Access. This new tool will replace the Online Account Services Information System (OASIS) as the online destination for participants to manage their General Board-administered retirement accounts.

Benefits Access will retain the functionality available through OASIS, such as the ability to:

• change investment elections,
• transfer between investment funds,
• rebalance accounts, and
• elect the LifeStage Investment Management Service.

Benefits Access also will offer a number of enhancements, including:

• new and improved retirement projection tools;
• electronic delivery options for account statements, Hark newsletters and notifications;
• articles and resources to help you improve your retirement picture;
• unique usernames, passwords and security questions for enhanced security; and
• the ability to view beneficiary designations and update contact information.
