Provides supplementary benefits for extended care for persons with chronic illnesses or injuries that health plans and Medicare are not typically designed to cover. |
| Basic Protection Plan (BPP) |
Provides disability and death benefits to approximately 10,000 participating clergy and lay employees. Effective January 1, 2009, the General Board replaced the BPP with UMLifeOptions. |
