Who Should Attend
*Continuing Education Units will be available for clergy, nurses, and CHES Category | health educators Conference StructureView the entire conference agenda here On-site event registration begins at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, September 21 with opening worship at 5:00p.m. The event ends on Wednesday, September 24 at 11:00a.m. Plenary Sessions have been planned to be of interest and help to all participants. Breakout Sessions are based on 4 distinct tracks, each designed to address health ministry at a different level of development. Participants may "mix-and-match" from the first three tracks and attend whichever sessions are of particular interest.
Servant Leadership: A Model for Self-Care. The fourth track of the Breakout Sessions has different parameters. Registration for the workshop will be limited to 40, and attendance restricted to those. Participants in this track will experience a private journey of self assessment in all aspects of health, leaving with a self-care covenant and plan for improvement. Those who register for this track are expected to attend all four sessions. The self-care covenant is not one of the "mix-and-match" options. Event Date / LocationSeptember 21-24, 2008 RegistrationRegister Online Now!Scholarship InformationThe GBGM/GBOPHB will fund tuition, lodging, and meals for two designated representatives per Annual Conference. Transportation is not included. Although everyone is invited to register, those planning to apply for the scholarship must obtain concurrence from their Annual Conference – Conference Benefits Officer that they are designated representatives prior to registering. Annual Conference RepresentativesThere is a $50 deposit for each registrant on scholarship as an Annual Conference Representative. The deposit will be fully refunded when you attend the conference or if you cancel by 9/1. If you cancel after 9/1 or do not attend, the $50 deposit will not be refunded. If registering on scholarship, be sure to obtain concurrence from your Annual Conference that you are a designated representative. The $50 deposit can be paid by check or by credit card if registering online. All Other RegistrantsYou can choose either option:
