UMC Health Assessment Findings
|
|
Nearly 80% of eligible clergy completed WebMD’s Health Quotient health risk assessment in 2012. Aggregate results from the assessment underscore the importance of programs, information, and systemic interventions to address the top risk factors of weight, high blood pressure, stress, and poor diet. Additionally, blood sugar and cholesterol levels are also above desired levels, putting the clergy population at a higher risk for chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
